Hello! I am Andrea Herrera. I can actually feel myself cringing inside whenever I think of myself as a runner. It seems too presumptuous because I am not very athletic, I think I have low endurance, and I am definitely not a very fast runner. I’d like to compare my feelings towards running with how much I love dancing. Again, I am not a great dancer. However, I find both activities exhilarating and uninhibited.

So I guess this blog will be about my attempt to be a runner which means trying to learn everything I can about running and to squeeze my running schedule into my hectic life as a wife, a mother, and a teacher.

In other words, if you’ve been running for quite some time then I think I have more to learn from you so feel free to leave nuggets of wisdom. Hopefully, in a few more months, this blog won’t be such a beginner runner’s blog anymore.
